The Region Viewer offers for all 106 MS-regions* of Switzerland a comprehensive overview over the local retail situation.
- All retailers, gastronomy and services are for all Regions filed and classified in 7 categories, 37 branches and 145 Subbranches (see Branchenübersicht Retail Atlas Schweiz).
- The results are compared with comparableregions in a benchmark. This way over- and underrepresented branches are made visible and potential retailers, that are not present yet, can be indentified.
All Region Viewers are on demand in English available.
* The MS-Regions are characterized by a certain spatial homogenity and obey the principle of labor market areas with a functional orientation to a center (Bundesamt für Statistik). (For an overview see: Übersicht MS-Regionen)
